Salmon return to Yorkson Creek

It’s our favourite time of year when the salmon make it back to spawn in our beautiful creek! Volunteers counted 170 wild coho on Nov. 11. in the section of Yorkson Creek from 93rd Ave to 80th Ave. This is the best return we’ve seen on one day! Fish Release a fun day for families

Yorkson Creek Fish release

This family-favourite event is happening April 23, 2016 at 11:00 am at Derby Hills Park on 98th Ave at 205 St. Langley. We release thousands of chum fry into their new home. The fun lasts for about an hour and a half. Wear boots!
