The fall rains are here and with them come the salmon. It is spawning season! 14 big, impressive chum salmon were counted on Sunday, Nov.8, 2015. Coho should follow any day now. YWES volunteers enjoy walking along the creek side and counting salmon from November to January. We check for salmon along Yorkson Creek from 98th Ave to 80 Ave.
